  12. Hello!! Just wanted to see if anyone might have some suggestions....I 
  13. have tried installing a Bocca Research V.34 28,800 modem and have tried 
  14. to connect to my ISP by PPP using both WFW and Trumpet and Win NT 3.5 
  15. workstation and RAS.  With NT, I got connected and everything seemed to 
  16. be negotiated ok...the a few seconds later, the server dropped the 
  17. connection (I think it was on that end, but, may have been the modem 
  18. first, I'm not sure).  With WFW, the scripts never got to finish before 
  19. the connection was dropped.  I think I have everything set up ok on the 
  20. modem and have used the same Com2 and IRQ 3 as my old modem(which I had 
  21. to hook up here again).  I have e-mailed them for help, but, thought 
  22. ya'll might have encountered something like this.  I noticed that this 
  23. modem has Rockwell chips which are supposed to cause trouble for Linux 
  24. (haven't tried it yet).  The older literature for Linux said something 
  25. about frame rate problems?  Well, any/ALL suggestions greatly 
  26. appreciated!!
